We are sorry, but due to the Coronavirus outbreak and resulting school closures, all of our Youth Club sessions have been cancelled until further notice.
We would like to invite you to a newly re-formed youth centre that is full of activities designed for your age range. Youth club sessions run throughout the year, including school holidays, with scheduled closures for staff training.
New members are always welcome. The first session is free of charge.
The sessions are run by fully trained youth workers, and all staff and volunteers have the necessary DBS checks.
Aimed at young people in school years 6 to 8. £1.50 entry
- Sports – football, cricket, tennis, rounders, badminton
- ICT and video games – computers, Xbox, Wii
- Arts and crafts
- Hair and beauty
- Table football
- Team-building activities
Please could all children attending the Monday session be picked up and dropped off by a parent/guardian.
Our Wednesday Senior Club is for young people in school years 9 to 11.
Activities are similar to the Monday sessions but the program is planned together with our youth club members, so depending on their interests and needs we can also include:
- Babysitting courses
- Trips e.g. go-karting (additional charge)
- First Aid training (additional charge)
- Mental Health awareness
- Sexual Health information
Thursdays 7.00-9.00pm : Duke of Edinburgh Award
The Duke of Edinburgh Award is run by Wokingham Borough Council.
Both Bronze Award and Silver Award programmes are offered at Twyford Youth Centre. New intakes start yearly in November.
